Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this government vacancy, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
- No experience required (experience will be an added advantage)
Knowledge Requirements
Applicants should demonstrate knowledge or understanding of:
- Government policies, procedures, and guidelines
- The Employment Services Act
- The Public Service Act and related regulations
- Batho Pele Principles
Required Skills
Successful candidates should possess the following skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills

- Interviewing and communication skills (verbal and written)

- Ability to interpret legislation and government policies
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidates will perform the following duties:
- Register work seekers on the Employment Services of South Africa (ESSA) system
- Register work and learning opportunities on the ESSA database
- Refer work seekers for employment counselling services
- Provide administrative support for the placement of job seekers into employment or learning opportunities
- Perform general administrative duties within the labour centre
- Participate in community advocacy and awareness sessions when required
