Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered:
- ABET / AET or Grade 10 qualification recognised by SAQA
- Proven knowledge of housekeeping and cleaning services
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machinery
- Strong teamwork skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and follow instructions
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across the facility, including but not limited to:
- Daily cleaning of offices and workspaces
- Dusting, polishing, and waxing office furniture
- Sweeping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and shampooing floors
- Cleaning walls, windows, doors, corridors, passages, and elevators
- Daily cleaning and sanitising of restrooms and toilets
- Replacing toilet paper and cleaning sanitary facilities
- Emptying, washing, and maintaining waste bins
- Cleaning office equipment such as microwaves and vacuum cleaners after use
- Safekeeping and maintenance of cleaning materials and equipment
- Reporting broken or damaged cleaning tools and machinery
