About the Role
As a Carer, you will support residents with daily living activities while ensuring their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing.
You will work with patients requiring:
- Frail care
- Dementia care
- Palliative care
- Sub-acute rehabilitation
- Respite care
This role focuses on personalised care and creating a safe, supportive environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities
Your daily duties will include:
- Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Supporting feeding and meal-time activities
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Taking residents for walks and activities
- Monitoring and reporting changes in patient condition
- Recording care activities on the Healthware system
- Following infection control and safety procedures
- Participating in night monitoring (camera watch duty when required)
Minimum Requirements
To qualify, you should have:
- Recognised Carer training (advantageous)
- SETA accreditation (advantageous)
- Proven experience as a Carer or in a similar role
