Purpose Statement:

Capitec Bank is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as ATM Assistants, also known as Bank Better Champions. In this role, you will play a key part in welcoming clients, managing branch flow, and providing exceptional service at the ATM and other remote or self-service channels. This position offers the opportunity to develop valuable skills and gain experience in service consulting.

Experience:

• Minimum: No prior experience required; a Grade 12 National Certificate is necessary.
• Ideal: Experience in client service within a retail, financial, or banking environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum: Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
• Ideal or Preferred:
  • Knowledge of bank branch environments
  • Familiarity with Capitec Bank products and business processes (internal)

Knowledge and Skills:

• Minimum Knowledge:
  • Basic calculations
  • Understanding how to engage with people
  • Clarity about personal aspirations and a strong desire to learn
• Ideal Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of bank branch environments
  • Understanding of Capitec Bank products and processes
• Skills:
  • Strong communication skills
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
  • Effective interpersonal and relationship management skills

• Detectable/recognizable fingerprints in Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system
