Fidelity ADT is hiring Armed Response Officers in Port Elizabeth. The primary purpose of this role is to patrol assigned areas and respond to client signals or incidents reported by the monitoring centre. Minimum Requirements
- Educational Qualification: Grade 10
- PSIRA Registration: Grade C with Armed Response
- Firearm Competency Certificate
- Valid Driver’s License (minimum 2 years)
- Master Drive certification (preferred)
- Familiarity with Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha area
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patrols and respond to signals from the control room
- Ensure prompt response times and maintain efficient route planning
- Build familiarity with client premises and surroundings
- Offer client support after serious incidents
- Handle complaints and assist with incident resolution
- Conduct introduction calls and maintain strong public relations
- Ensure clients’ safety by checking premises thoroughly
- Provide clear feedback and follow-ups where needed
- Maintain proper uniform standards and participate in daily parades
- Perform daily/weekly vehicle inspections and complete checklists
- Adhere to personal hygiene and grooming standards
- Submit clear and comprehensive reports when required
- Follow radio and communication procedures as per ADT policies
- Maintain a clean and professional workstation or office environment
- Attend mandatory training and team meetings
- Demonstrate full knowledge and accountability for the duties assigned
- Avoid misuse of company equipment or resources
