About the Position

As a General Assistant, your main responsibility will be to support the smooth operation of yard, warehouse, and customer loading activities. You will assist customers, maintain stock accessibility, and ensure cleanliness and safety at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and issue customer and driver orders
- Assist with loading and offloading of vehicles
- Provide fast and efficient service to customers and suppliers in the yard and workshop
- Ensure yard stock is neatly packed and easy to access
- Maintain cleanliness and order in loading areas and vehicles
- Support wash bay operations and ensure activities are completed correctly
- Keep store shelves and boards tidy and accessible for customers
- Uphold and promote BUCO’s core values and workplace culture
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- Basic product knowledge of building materials or hardware is beneficial
- Strong focus on customer service and safety
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
Salary
- Market-related, based on experience and role level
