Key Responsibilities
The Cleaner position plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the airline’s facilities and aircraft. Successful candidates will be expected to ensure that the cleanliness standards are met and maintained across the airline’s operations. This will involve a variety of tasks, including cleaning aircraft interiors, airport facilities, and other workspaces to meet regulatory and company standards.
As a cleaner, you will be responsible for:
- Cleaning the interior and exterior of aircraft, including the cabins, restrooms, and other high-touch areas.
- Ensuring that airport facilities are maintained in a clean and safe condition.
- Assisting in the upkeep of aircraft maintenance areas and other operational zones.
- Adhering to Airlink’s health and safety guidelines to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be eligible for the Cleaner Vacancy, applicants must meet specific educational and experience requirements:
- Minimum Education Requirement: A Grade 12 certificate or its equivalent, such as N4. This ensures that the candidate has a foundational level of education necessary for the role.
- Experience: Previous experience in cleaning or working within the aviation environment will be highly advantageous. Those familiar with the aviation industry’s cleanliness and safety standards will have an edge.
- Safety Training: Hazard safety training is a must for this position. Airlink places a high emphasis on safety in all areas of its operations, including cleaning processes, and successful applicants must have a keen understanding of these protocols.
