Key Responsibilities

Workshop Costing & Invoicing:

Open job cards and allocate WIP numbers
Capture accurate vehicle repair records on the IT system
Prepare written quotations for customers
Allocate correct parts, labour, and sub-contractor prices
Generate and authorize sub-contractor orders
Ensure all quotations are filed with corresponding job cards

Financial Administration:

Verify that all work is allocated to an active account
Follow Kerridge procedures for capturing account details
Obtain repair order numbers from accounts or finance houses
Manage insurance-related workshop costs
Check customer account details, credit limits, and active accounts
Apply WIS numbers and forward documentation to the warranty clerk
Finalize completed job cards for costing and invoicing clerks

Warranty & Maintenance Processing:

Prepare, check, and submit warranty claims and ESKULABS to Mercedes-Benz
Ensure warranty claims are processed accurately to maximize dealership profits and minimize unnecessary expenses

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric certificate
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Service Costing role (advantageous)
Mercedes-Benz brand and Kerridge system experience will be an advantage
Knowledge of service costing, invoicing, and warranty procedures
Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills
Ability to work accurately under pressure
