Minimum Requirements

  • Matric / Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or an equivalent qualification
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including:
    • MS Word
    • MS Excel

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Knowledge of HR matters and provisioning administration
  • Experience with document management and filing systems

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide administrative and financial support to the ICT Chief Directorate.

Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative assistance to the Chief Directorate
  • Organize and coordinate administrative activities
  • Maintain accurate records and filing systems
  • Handle archiving and distribution of documents
  • Track and manage official documents

Reception and Communication

  • Welcome and assist visitors professionally
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders

Procurement and Payment Processing

  • Generate requirements for Purchase Orders (RLS01)
  • Verify services received for payment processing (RLS02)
  • Manage documentation related to ICT payments
  • Address procurement-related unpaid queries

Vendor and Financial Management

  • Liaise with vendors regarding SCM processes
  • Manage invoices, billing statements, and reconciliations
  • Track and verify invoices for payment approval
  • Handle petty cash management and reconciliation
