Main duties include:

  • Performing administrative tasks related to provisioning and logistics support
  • Preserving, storing and maintaining certain military stock items
  • Maintaining accurate data registers for stock received, issued and pending
  • Assisting with stocktaking and inventory management
  • Ensuring warehouses and stores remain clean, organised and secure
  • Following up on outstanding demands and supply requests
  • Assisting with the updating of provisioning parameters on ICNs
  • Scrutinising and printing Provisioning Authorisations (PAs)
  • Supporting demand and purchasing processes
  • Assisting with the disposal and safeguarding of stores
  • Providing feedback and statistical reports when required
  • Determining future stock level requirements
  • Handling issuing and receiving of stock items
  • Evaluating requirements that affect the operational readiness of the base
  • Performing binning and cleaning of stores
