YES Digital Marketing Learnership

About the Programme
Takealot, in collaboration with the Youth Employment Service (YES), is offering a 12-month paid learnership for unemployed youth. This initiative is designed to provide hands-on experience and develop practical skills in digital marketing and e-commerce. Participants will assist small businesses that sell on the Takealot Marketplace.
Note: Learners will be placed with SMMEs (small, medium, and micro enterprises) partnered with Takealot — not within Takealot itself.
Programme Details
- Contract Duration: 12-month fixed-term.
- Placement: With Takealot Marketplace SMME sellers.
- Work Allocation:
- 80% focused on digital marketing and e-commerce tasks.
- 20% exposure to broader business functions.
- Location: Primarily in Gauteng townships and urban areas.
- Support: Ongoing guidance from Takealot programme coordinators.
