We are seeking a Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing store presentation and driving sales. Your efforts will contribute to creating an exceptional shopping experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure shelves are consistently stocked with the correct products.
Maintain visually appealing store displays.
Accurately price products to optimize sales.

Requirements

A smartphone.
Matric certificate, valid South African ID, SARS registration letter, and bank confirmation letter (guidance will be provided for document uploads).
A Vodacom SIM card is required if your application is successful.

Job Responsibilities

The role of the Merchandiser involves the following duties and responsibilities to be fulfilled:

Stock Management: Track, document, and organize stock levels, including unpacking and arranging products.
Visual Merchandising: Design engaging product displays, plan store layouts, and create signage to attract customers.
Product Maintenance: Ensure all products are correctly displayed, priced, and in good condition; remove damaged or expired items as needed.
Collaboration: Work alongside marketing, sales, and other departments to meet business goals.
Customer Service: Assist customers by providing product recommendations, addressing complaints, and handling inquiries.
Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free store, including the stockroom.

Key Performance Indicators

Accurate stock records and properly arranged products.
Visually appealing and well-maintained store displays.
Effective teamwork with different departments.
Strong customer service and product knowledge.
A well-kept and organized store environment.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants will be required to meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this role:

Matric certificate.
Experience in merchandising, sales, or customer service.
Proficiency in English.
Reside within 15km of the job location.
A clear criminal record.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following would be beneficial:

South African citizenship.
Prior experience in merchandising or a related field.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
