About the Bridgestone Tyre Serviceman Learnership 2026
Bridgestone is currently seeking for candidates who need theoretical knowledge and practical skills with a learnership in the Tyre Serviceman career path. The Bridgestone Tyre Serviceman Learnership requires you to perform the duties below:

• Follow Otraco Southern Africa’s policies, procedures, and instructions.
• Observe all client policies, procedures, and instructions.
• Record tyre changes and other required information accurately, then file or submit the records as instructed.
• Inspect and calibrate equipment in line with established procedures.
• Remove and fit wheels on all types of vehicles according to approved procedures.
• Mount and remove all types of tyre and rim assemblies following the required procedures.
• Repair tyres and tubes according to established procedures.
• Operate forklifts and tyre-handling equipment safely and according to procedures.
• Clean, paint, and crack-test rim components as required.
• Inspect wheel components and assess whether they are suitable for continued use.
• Maintain tyre operating pressures according to site specifications.
• Deliver a consistently high standard of service to the client.
• Perform any additional duties assigned when required.

• Hold a valid and appropriate light vehicle driver’s licence (South African Code 08)
• Have a Grade 12 National Certificate
• Hold a valid and appropriate heavy vehicle driver’s licence (South African Code 10)
• Have a Grade 12 National Certificate with Mathematics and Science
• Work effectively under supervision and follow instructions as required
• Recognize your role in providing excellent customer service
• Use common sense and take initiative when handling tasks
• Show a willingness to learn and develop your tyre-fitting skills and knowledge.
