The Eskom Artisan Learnerships is opening up a total of X7 positions across three fields to ensure everyone receives the opportunity to be more prepared for the competitive career world.
During the course of the four-year training program, you will be required to follow a predetermined curriculum that is comprised of both theoretical examinations and practical working sessions that are carried out in an actual working environment. As you make your way toward a qualification, you will be provided with the direction and assistance of trained professionals who will urge you to demonstrate enormous progress.

1. Basic Qualifications
- Be a South African citizen
- Hold a National N6 Certificate with Trade Subjects in Mechanical, Electrical, or Control and Instrumentation.
- Hold a National N4/N5 Certificate with relevant Trade Subjects.
- Complete Grade 12 with at least 50% in Mathematics, 50% in Physical Science, and 40% in English.
- Hold an N3 Certificate with at least 50% in Mathematics, 50% in Science, and 40% in English.
- Hold an NCV Level 4 qualification with at least 50% in Mathematics, 50% in Science, and 40% in English.
- Complete the recruitment process and, if successful, accept placement within Eskom Operations across the division
