Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Grade 12, Senior Certificate, NCV Level 4 or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification recognised by SAQA.
- At least four years of relevant experience in the field of the post.
- Must be a citizen of the Republic of South Africa.
- Documentary proof of South African citizenship must be provided on the day of the interview.
- Must be proficient in English and at least one other official South African language.
- Applicants must demonstrate competency in the core functions of the post.
- Must be willing to work under pressure and extended hours when required.
An applicable three-year Diploma or Degree at NQF Level 6 or higher, together with relevant training courses in the field of the post, will be an added advantage.
A valid driver’s licence for at least a light motor vehicle will also be an added advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide administrative and management information support to the National Intervention Unit Operations section.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Rendering an effective and efficient management information service to the Section Head.
- Preparing presentations for internal use when requested by the Section Head.
- Maintaining databases containing information requested by the Section Head.
- Providing general administrative support to the NIU Operations and Support Section.
- Managing the IRIS system relevant to NIU Units.
- Conducting monitoring and evaluation activities at various units within the section.
- Attending to Auditor-General matters relating to national performance indicators.
- Supporting effective record keeping, reporting and information management.
