Job Overview
Impala Platinum Limited (Implats) is seeking a Driver (BL) to join its Finance and Administration (MMS) team in Springs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of goods, materials, and equipment between suppliers and various refinery departments while ensuring compliance with company procedures, road traffic regulations, and occupational health and safety standards.
This position is ideal for candidates with driving experience, a valid Code C1 driver’s licence with a PDP, and a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and efficient material handling. The role also involves loading and unloading goods, operating forklifts where applicable, maintaining company vehicles, and ensuring a clean and organised work environment.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Delivering goods to various departments within the refinery.
- Collecting goods from suppliers and delivering them safely.
- Loading goods and materials onto company vehicles.
- Operating a forklift to load goods into cages and trucks where required.
- Transporting materials and equipment using light delivery vehicles or trucks.
- Ensuring goods are handled safely and securely during transportation.
- Conducting basic vehicle inspections and ensuring vehicles are properly maintained.
- Adhering to Road Traffic Regulations at all times.
- Following company Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Maintaining good housekeeping standards within the work area.
- Providing professional customer service during deliveries and collections.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- A valid Code C1 Driver’s Licence.
- A valid Public Driver’s Permit (PDP).
- At least 1 year of driving experience operating light and/or heavy-duty vehicles.
- Be medically fit for the position.
Advantageous Qualifications
The following will be an added advantage:
- Valid Forklift Licence.
- Warehouse qualification.
