Job Overview
Shoprite Group is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Soup Kitchen Driver to join its community outreach team in Rustenburg, North West. This role is focused on supporting community feeding initiatives by collecting, transporting, and delivering food donations, groceries, and prepared meals to those in need.
The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring food and essential supplies reach designated community locations safely and on time. In addition to driving duties, the role includes assisting with loading and unloading, maintaining the company vehicle, supporting logistics and distribution activities, and keeping accurate delivery records.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Collecting food donations, groceries, and essential supplies.
- Delivering prepared meals safely to designated locations.
- Loading and unloading food items and equipment.
- Ensuring the delivery vehicle remains clean, roadworthy, and well maintained.
- Assisting with logistics and food distribution activities.
- Following all road traffic regulations and company procedures.
- Maintaining accurate delivery and collection records.
- Supporting community feeding programmes efficiently and professionally.
- Ensuring food is transported safely and hygienically.
- Providing reliable service while representing the organisation positively.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A valid Code 10 or Code 14 Driver’s Licence with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
- A clean driving record.
- Previous driving experience (advantageous).
- Ability to lift and carry food supplies and equipment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
- A genuine passion for serving communities and supporting vulnerable groups.
