Job Description

The Receptionist will provide front-desk service and support to customers and visitors, ensuring a smooth operational workflow for the office.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage front-of-house operations, including calls, messages, and employee communications.
  • Welcome and direct visitors to appropriate appointments.
  • Book boardrooms and manage parking schedules.
  • Take minutes during official meetings, type, and circulate them.
  • Receive and capture building audit data and manage filing.
  • Order, process, and deliver stationery to employees.
  • Sort post and notify recipients.
  • Communicate office management issues with staff via email.
  • Provide administrative support to various business sections.
  • Assist with administration for project work and special tasks.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Certificate in Receptionist, Administration, or Secretarial studies.
  • Matric (Senior Certificate).
  • Valid South African Driver’s License.
  • 6 months’ experience in switchboard operations or secretarial roles.
  • Training in Administration/Reception/Switchboard, ideally in a customer-focused environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
