About the Sage Sales Internship 2026
Sage is currently seeking for capable applicants who require practical work exposure focusing on the Sales department with their internship programme. The Sales Internship at Sage Group provides interns with the opportunity to work closely alongside experienced Sales professionals, particularly within the small and medium business segments. In this role, interns are actively involved in supporting day-to-day sales operations, with a strong focus on administrative coordination and the quotation process.
They play an important role in ensuring that all sales opportunities are properly reviewed before quotes are issued, including verifying details such as the correct tax country, branch allocation, and the accuracy of Sales GP calculations within the CRM system. Interns are also responsible for capturing and creating new opportunities on the CRM platform, contributing to the overall efficiency of the sales pipeline.
You will be required to perform the duties below:
- Conduct searches on CRM and Salesforce to determine whether an existing opportunity is already recorded; if found, attach the quotation to the open opportunity, and if not, create a new opportunity on both systems, upload the quotation, and contact the customer to confirm receipt
- Allow responsibility for forecasting, ACV values, and commission allocation to business partners to remain with the sales representative, along with all related communications and stage updates within the systems
- Load opportunities onto Smart Sheets when required after being notified, then forward the system-generated confirmation email to the ASM for data verification; ensure entries are recorded under the opportunity owner’s name rather than the intern’s
- Confirm scheduled appointments and, when necessary, reschedule them on behalf of the assigned ASM
- Attend selected sales demonstrations for learning and exposure, as arranged by the ASM
- Support the ASM by taking meeting minutes during demonstrations or discussions when required
- Assist in preparing quotations for runtime-related requests
- Redirect business-related inquiries to the appropriate department when they have been mistakenly sent to the Sales team
- Submit escalation webforms on behalf of clients when necessary
- Support ASMs by conducting research on prospective or existing clients
- Assist in completing due diligence documentation under the guidance of the assigned ASM
