JOB PURPOSE:

To ensure a reliable duty by assisting RME Construction teams during maintenance and construction works
To ensure that work is completed effectively and efficiently performing general worker duties

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCE REQUIRED:

Minimum Grade 9 and or 6 months relevant experience
physically fit, (Undergo medical examination and be declared fit for duty) be alert and safety conscious, as well as able to communicate in English
Be able to work under adverse weather conditions.
Be prepared to work extended hours on short notice.
Wiling to relocate or work outside your designated depot.
Be able to work in confined spaces and at heights
Health and Safety conscious.
Be prepared to work on noise environmental area.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Carry out all tasks as set out by the Supervisor/Team Leader.
Be punctual and must be of sober habit.
Handling, loading and offloading material
Cleaning of sites by removing weeds, stacking materials, sweeping floors, removing and disposing of excess/rubble materials,
Must be able to use any hand tool (non-mechanised) in the construction environment
Cleaning of tools
