Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this government vacancy, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- NQF Level 3 qualification (Grade 10 certificate or equivalent)
- At least six (6) months of trade-related experience
- Basic knowledge of:

- Water distribution systems for government waterworks

Key Responsibilities

- Performing routine maintenance on electrical equipment
- Assisting with maintenance of dam walls and water infrastructure
- Keeping work structures and surrounding areas clean
- Ensuring proper storage and security of tools and equipment
- Maintaining cleanliness of grids and workshop areas
- Locking and securing storerooms
- Repairing faulty equipment when necessary
- Supporting Artisans and technical personnel with mechanical and electrical services

- Loading and offloading equipment from vehicles

- Working away from the office for extended periods when required
