POSTS: SECURITY OFFICERS X38

Reporting to: Senior Manager Maintenance
Salary: Market related

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Safeguarding personnel, building and valuable building items
Checking and admitting visitors into the building
Patrolling the premises at regular intervals
Responding to any distress calls or alarms
Monitoring a specific area

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CRITIAL COMPETENCIES:

Excellent observational skills and attention to detail
Authoritative verbal communication skills
Ability to remain calm in high pressure situations
Ability to learn the layout of the property and buildings

PREFFERED MINIMUM EDUCATION:

Matric
Grade C Registration with PSIRA

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

1 Year experience as a security guard
