The South African Board for Sheriffs (SABFS) is responsible for the maintenance of the esteem of, the
enhancement of the status of, and the improvement of the standard of training of and functions performed by sheriffs, in a manner that enhances access to justice.


We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Brand Administrator to join our team. As a key
member of our staff, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the SABFS and Sheriffs Profession Brand Guide, ensuring that all branding elements adhere to the correct usage of approved logos and visual standards.


The role will also involve assisting and managing the design, manufacturing, procurement of uniforms and
inventory. Coordinating and processing orders for uniforms and ensuring that staff members and the Sheriffs Profession are properly equipped and professionally presented in line with the approved policy. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining brand consistency and upholding the professional image of the organisation.
This position reports to the Manager: Training & Development and Communications.


KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
The below highlights the key areas of focus but is not limited to:

  • Manage and maintain the SABFS and Sheriffs Profession Brand Guide.
  • Ensure correct and consistent use of Sheriffs and Deputies logos, colors, and branding elements
    across all materials.
  • Monitor compliance with branding guidelines approved by the SABFS.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff and sheriffs on correct brand usage.

Basic understanding of inventory management principles and uniform industry practices

Proficiency in MS Office and inventory management software

Strong organizational and time management skills

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

Basic problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to maintain accurate records and databases

Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.

Facilitate the understanding of the use of the online uniform portal.

Facilitate the sheriffs understanding of the uniform policy.

Facilitate the understanding of the sheriffs brand guide.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Branding, Communications, Business Administration, or a related
field (advantageous).

At least 2–3 years’ experience in branding administration, marketing support, or a similar
administrative role.

Report writing and record keeping

Strong organisational and administrative skills.

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Basic knowledge of branding principles and brand management.

Personal Attributes

Professional and proactive.

Highly organised and detail oriented.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong sense of responsibility for maintaining the organisation’s professional image.

Valid Driver’s Licence

Must be able to travel
