Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- A qualification at NQF Level 4 recognized by South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
- Knowledge of road maintenance procedures and construction methods.
- Understanding of relevant government Acts and regulations.
- Basic knowledge of operating road construction machinery.
- Awareness of health and safety measures in construction environments.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will perform routine road maintenance and construction activities, including:
- Construction of culverts and side drains
- Installing and maintaining steel guardrails and gabions
- Performing road earthworks and layer works
- Cleaning and maintaining roads, sidewalks, and rest areas
- Pothole repairs and road surfacing
- Road fencing and pipe laying
- Installing road signs, road studs, and distance markers
- Setting up road markings and barricading work areas
- Bush clearing and grass cutting along road reserves
- Crushing road materials for construction and maintenance
