Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 certificate
- At least 2 years’ experience working as a Cleaner in a health facility or similar environment
- Ability to read and write
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure

Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Cleaning designated areas including floors, windows, walls, basins, mirrors, kitchens, urinals, and bathrooms
- Dusting, polishing, scrubbing, stripping, and disinfecting clinical and non-clinical areas
- Ensuring all areas are kept hygienic at all times
- Preventing cross-contamination and promptly removing spillages to prevent accidents
- Using correct cleaning chemicals and dilutions in line with IPC guidelines
- Collecting, separating, and disposing of waste according to prescribed categories
- Cleaning and maintaining all cleaning equipment and tools
- Reporting faulty equipment and safety incidents
- Supporting compliance with the Ideal Hospital Framework and general institutional standards
