Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Typing proficiency.

Sexual Offences and Community Affairs (SOCA)
Salary: R228 321 per annum (Level 05), excluding benefits
Centre: Head Office – Pretoria
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Administrative qualification will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to act independently, professionally, accountably, and with credibility.
- Basic knowledge of the PFMA and Treasury Regulations.
- Strong planning, organising, written, and verbal communication skills.
- General computer literacy.
- Basic numeracy skills.
- Ability to ensure compliance with NPA policies, guidelines, and relevant prescripts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to Senior Staff within the SOCA Unit and Thuthuzela Care Centres (TCCs) in Gauteng Province.
- Receive, process, review, and capture DNA reports and related requests.
- Rename and classify reports according to established protocols.
- Validate outcomes received from Forensic Science Laboratories (FSL).
- Capture report details and priority requests (including GBV and murder cases) on multiple databases.
- Allocate and classify reports using SAPS CAS numbers.
- Maintain proper filing systems and document management processes.
- Provide procurement administration and logistical support.
- Administer leave registers and travel arrangements for SOCA staff.
- Assist with minute-taking, meeting coordination, and collation of reports.
- Compile and submit monthly work activity reports.
- Process cell phone and subsistence & travel claims.
- Distribute resources as directed by supervisors.
- Ensure proper financial resource utilisation and asset management.
- Support training administration and ensure policy compliance.
- Liaise with stakeholders and provide advice to personnel on official matters.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to the office.
- Develop and maintain an organised administrative system.
- Perform a wide range of administrative tasks in support of line functionaries.
- Draft correspondence to members of the public, organisations, and government departments.
- Liaise with administration on matters relating to office operations.
- Provide administrative support to legal staff, including financial, logistical, and human resource matters.
- Manage internal mail, faxes, filing, photocopying, document dispatch, and general office support services.
