Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or NQF Level 4 equivalent
- 2–5 years’ administrative or data-capturing experience in an engineering or workshop environment
- Good understanding of invoicing and job card processes
- Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Willingness to work overtime, including weekends when required
Advantageous Qualifications & Experience
- Technical qualification or course
- Parts store experience
- Knowledge of On-Key system or Pragma
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The Data Capturer – Engineering will be responsible for:
- Accurate capturing of job cards and related documentation
- Opening and closing job cards
- Scanning documents onto File Director
- Filing documentation within required deadlines
- Compiling reports
- Taking meeting minutes
- Taking full responsibility in the absence of the Planner
- Performing additional tasks as required by the line manager
Accuracy, attention to detail, and accountability are critical in this position.
