Office of the Chief Justice is inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for the Registrar’s Clerk vacancy: Caseflow Management. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the efficient administration and flow of court cases in accordance with High Court rules and procedures.

Salary: R228,321 – R268,950 per annum (Salary Level 05)
Contract Type: Permanent (Performance agreement required)
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- At least one (1) year of administrative experience, preferably within a court or legal environment
Added Advantages
The following qualifications and experience will be considered an advantage:
- LLB Degree
- BCom Law or BA (Law)
- Paralegal Degree or Diploma
- Experience in general legal administration
Assessment: All shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a pre-entry practical exercise to assess technical and generic competencies relevant to the post.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
The Registrar’s Clerk will be responsible for the following duties:
- Providing administrative support to the Caseflow Management Division
- Filing and processing civil court documents
- Rendering counter and public enquiry services
- Acting as a liaison between Judges and Legal Practitioners
- Handling telephonic and electronic correspondence
- Collecting, capturing, monitoring, and controlling manual data
- Uploading and updating case information on Registrar tools and Court Online
- Assisting with archiving and safekeeping of recorded court cases
- Providing general administrative support to the Judiciary, Chief Registrar, Court Manager, or Supervisor
