Salary & Benefits
Remuneration:
R417,864 – R573,228 per annum (basic salary, plus benefits)
Minimum Requirements
- National Diploma in:
- Public Administration
- Logistics
- Transport Management
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Knowledge of:
- Administrative systems
- Fleet tracking and coordination
- Reporting procedures
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in administrative and/or fleet support roles
- Experience within a municipal service delivery environment will be advantageous
Core Responsibilities
Fleet & Asset Administration
- Capture and log fleet repair or breakdown requests from depots
- Coordinate special workshop inspections and visits
- Maintain an updated fleet and equipment register
- Track vehicle allocation, mileage, service status, and condition
Reporting & Compliance
- Record abnormalities, missing vehicles, and discrepancies
- Compile reports on high breakdown frequency and major mechanical failures
- Maintain decommissioning status trackers
- Compile monthly and quarterly fleet performance reports
Records & Audit Management
- File and archive commissioning checklists and delivery documentation
- Maintain secure records for audit readiness
- Log accident and incident reports from depot staff
Communication & SOP Management
- Distribute updated fleet-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Communicate scheduled maintenance and vehicle return dates to depots
- Support forepersons and depot managers with fleet information
