About the Clover Merchandiser YES Learnership 2026
Clover is searching for applicants who would like to obtain theoretical knowledge and practical skills as a qualified Merchandiser in the Sales department. The Clover Merchandiser YES Learnership presents an exciting opportunity for unemployed youth to gain practical experience within the Sales Department as Merchandisers.

This learnership is designed to provide participants with 12 months of structured workplace exposure, allowing them to develop essential skills and gain valuable insight into the retail and sales environment. Throughout the program, learners will be actively involved in merchandising activities while receiving on-the-job training and support.

These learnership positions are based at various Clover branches across South Africa, including Clayville, CDC Cape Town, Bloemfontein, Port Elizabeth, and Queensburgh.

You will be required to perform the duties below:

  • Implement appropriate stock control procedures in both the store and backup areas where Clover products are managed
  • Manage, reduce, and accurately record product returns in line with the store’s work plan
  • Prevent out-of-stock situations as far as possible and promptly report any occurrences to the Area Manager
  • Submit accurate and timely orders in accordance with the prescribed ordering schedule
  • Maintain clean, well-organized, and visually appealing products on shelves at all times
  • Ensure effective control of crates and equipment at the store in compliance with company policies
  • Build and sustain strong professional relationships with store management, Area Managers, Head Office, customers, and fellow Merchandisers at all times
