About the Spar Supply Chain Management Learnership 2026-2027
Spar is currently looking for applicants who need theoretical knowledge and practical skills focusing on Supply Chain Management with their learnership. The SPAR Supply Chain Management Learnership places successful candidates at the SPAR North Distribution Centre for a structured period of twelve (12) months. A total of fifty (50) learners are selected to participate in the programme, offering them the opportunity to gain hands-on exposure within a large-scale distribution environment. During this time, learners become part of the operational setting, allowing them to understand the day-to-day functions of supply chain management within a leading retail organisation.

Throughout the learnership, participants follow a carefully designed curriculum that integrates theoretical learning with practical, workplace-based training. The programme includes formal assessments as well as real-time work experience, ensuring a balanced approach to skill development. Under the supervision and mentorship of accredited training providers and industry professionals, learners are supported in developing their competencies, demonstrating measurable progress, and working towards the successful attainment of a recognised qualification.
