Requirements

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent qualification
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Ability to work independently, professionally, and responsibly
  • Knowledge of registry and filing procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and extended hours
  • Reliable, accountable, and detail-oriented


Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing an efficient and effective messenger service
  • Collecting and delivering documents within and outside the DDPP office
  • Collecting and delivering mail from the post office
  • Opening, registering, and sorting incoming mail and parcels
  • Recording and distributing correspondence in line with the approved file plan
  • Ensuring the safe and timely delivery of official documents
