- Salary: R228 321 – R268 950 per annum (Level 03)
- Centre: Free State Division of the High Court
- Contract Requirement: The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance agreement
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 4)
- Operational knowledge of a CRT (Court Recording Transcription) machine will be an added advantage
- Valid driver’s licence
- Willingness to travel, including to circuit courts
- All shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a pre-entry practical assessment to evaluate technical and generic competencies
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Digital recording of court proceedings and ensuring the integrity of court records, including circuit court recordings
- Maintenance of criminal record books and charge sheets
- Writing and tracing of summonses
- Preparation and management of witness fee books
- Completion and issuing of committal warrants of arrest
- General administrative support for court operations and case flow management
- Completion, scanning, and capturing of court and case-related documents
- Providing administrative support to the judiciary, court manager, and supervisor as required
