Job Overview
You will be responsible for the movement of goods in and out of South Africa, ensuring full compliance with local and international regulations. The role involves managing export documentation, coordinating transport and sea freight, monitoring shipments, and handling related financial processes.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain and update export price lists
- Prepare pro forma invoices and sales contracts
- Load and manage export orders on the system
- Coordinate stock availability with factories and Supply Chain
- Arrange transportation and manage load numbers
- Provide commercial invoices to transporters
- Arrange and reconcile payments for transporters and freight companies
- Investigate and resolve client order queries
- Monitor export shipments from order to final destination
- Compile and verify export documentation
Sea Freight Responsibilities
- Arrange export documentation and vessel bookings
- Coordinate labels, bags, and packaging instructions
- Arrange delivery from plant to port
- Liaise with inspectors to ensure product quality standards
- Ensure accuracy of all Bills of Lading
- Follow up on outstanding payments
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Export commercial experience (preferred)
