What Does the Job Involve?
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely driving company vehicles to deliver and collect eggs and day-old chicks on assigned routes. You must keep the company vehicle clean and well-maintained as a reflection of the company’s image. You will also handle basic administrative duties related to deliveries and vehicle care. Safety is key, so following Health and Safety policies at all times is required. The role includes working weekends, nights, public holidays, and overtime when needed.
Who Should Apply?
- You must have completed Grade 12 (matric).
- You need to hold a valid Code 14 driver’s license plus a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience driving a Code 14 vehicle is required.

- Fluency in either English or Afrikaans is needed.
- You must have your own reliable transport to get to work.
What Is a Code 14 Driver’s License?
A Code 14 license in South Africa allows you to drive heavy vehicles over 16,000 kg with trailers over 750 kg. It also includes permission to drive smaller vehicle categories such as Code 8 and 10. To obtain this license, you must have a valid learner’s license, be at least 18 years old, pass written and practical driving tests based on the K53 curriculum, and demonstrate safe driving skills during inspections and road tests.
