Bidvest Protea Coin, through its Gijima Training Academy, is inviting applications for a 12-month Security Learnership Programme aimed at unemployed youth from the John Taolo Gaetsewe (JTG) District in the Northern Cape. The programme will provide successful candidates with a National Certificate in General Security Practices (NQF Level 3), accredited by SASSETA (Safety & Security Sector Education and Training Authority). Minimum Requirements
To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be between the ages of 18 and 27
- Hold a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
- Submit a valid Identity Document
- Provide an updated CV
- Must be a local resident (subject to verification)
- Submit proof of residence
- Provide a SARS document (Income Tax Reference Number)
- Have no criminal record
- Be able to communicate effectively in English
- Be able to read and write
- Be medically and physically fit
- PSIRA registration will be advantageous
