Job Overview

For 2025, PepsiCo is looking to hire Delivery Assistants for its SASKO Bread team in Vryheid, KwaZulu-Natal.

This role is crucial because it helps ensure that bread and bakery products are delivered safely, on time, and in excellent condition to stores and customers. As a Delivery Assistant, you’ll be part of a team that works hard behind the scenes to keep households and businesses stocked with fresh SASKO bread every day.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the Delivery Assistant position, you must meet the following criteria:

A Matric (Grade 12) certificate is required.
A Code 10 driver’s license with PDP will be an added advantage.
Good knowledge of Vryheid and nearby areas, including streets and delivery routes.
Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and shifts.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Must be reliable, trustworthy, and responsible when handling products.

Key Responsibilities

As a Delivery Assistant at PepsiCo, you will:

Help with loading and offloading bread and other products.
Support drivers with timely deliveries across Vryheid and surrounding areas.
Make sure Proof of Delivery (POD) documents are completed and submitted correctly.
Report any safety issues, incidents, or accidents immediately.
Assist with stock checks and keep accurate records of deliveries.
Follow all safety rules and company procedures to protect products and equipment.
Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries.
