About the Role

As a Sales Assistant at Old Khaki, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service while helping to drive sales growth. You’ll be responsible for assisting customers, handling transactions, and maintaining the store’s high standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

Your daily responsibilities will include:

Exceeding customer expectations by using effective selling techniques.
Driving sales by identifying opportunities to increase turnover.
Meeting and consistently achieving personal sales targets.
Maintaining store appearance and upholding visual merchandising standards.
Creating a positive and inspiring shopping environment for customers.
Processing all transactions, including cash, cards, vouchers, and coupons accurately.
Ensuring all outgoing stock is scanned and paid for before leaving the store.
Assisting with loyalty card processing for Old Khaki and partner programs.
Building strong customer relationships by being friendly, helpful, and approachable.
Handling customer complaints and compliments professionally.
Responding to stock queries and resolving them quickly.

Minimum Requirements

Clear criminal and credit record.

South African citizen.
