Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
- Up to 6 months’ retail experience (essential)
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Willing and able to work retail hours
- Advantageous: At least 1 year retail experience
Key Responsibilities
- Restock shelves to maximise sales and availability.
- Ensure stock is correctly packed, rotated, and within sell-by dates.
- Report low, damaged, or expired stock to management.
- Assist with stock counts and general stocktaking.
- Maintain store layout, planograms, and merchandising displays.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with product queries.
- Keep shelves neat, clean, and well-presented with correct labels and pricing.
- Assist with loading/off-loading stock and storeroom management.
- Follow all company policies, SOPs, and health & safety regulations.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication skills (English essential, bilingual advantageous).
- Presentable, trustworthy, and customer service driven.
- Good time management and organisational ability.
- Knowledge of FMCG industry and merchandising standards (advantageous).
- Physically fit and able to lift/move heavy boxes.
