Key Responsibilities
- Work with the immediate supervisor to achieve operational targets.
- Conduct daily inspections in designated areas of responsibility.
- Manage and plan tailings material on site and deposition areas.
- Extend and connect pipelines.
- Open and close valves as required by operations.
- Assist with problem-solving and report deviations to the supervisor.
- Monitor and control levels of the tailings dam (mud guard duties).
- Maintain housekeeping standards on site.
- Follow safety rules and regulations as per legislation and company policies.
- Participate in toolbox talks and meetings.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate (essential).
- No prior experience required (tailings environment experience advantageous).
Skills & Attributes
- Good communication (verbal & written).
- Strong planning and organising skills.
- Team player with good listening skills.
- Observant and safety-conscious.
General Requirements
- Must pass a criminal screening process.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and occasional overtime.
- Medically fit as per company standards.
