Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Barman / Mixologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a creative professional with a deep understanding of spirits, cocktails, and customer service. You will be responsible for crafting exceptional drinks, engaging with guests, and contributing to the overall ambience of the bar.
Key Responsibilities
- • Prepare and serve a wide range of classic and signature cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- • Develop seasonal cocktail menus in collaboration with the Bar Manager and Head Chef.
- • Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar area.
- • Engage with guests in a warm, professional, and knowledgeable manner.
- • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stock control.
- • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and responsible alcohol service.
- • Train junior bar staff and support team development.
- • Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and new products.
Requirements
- • Proven experience as a barman or mixologist in a high-end or boutique hospitality setting.
- • Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, and cocktail preparation.
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- • Creative flair and a passion for hospitality.
- • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- • Relevant certification in bartending or mixology is advantageous.
