As a VIP (Security) Officer, you’ll play a key role in maintaining safety, preventing loss, and ensuring a secure environment for our guests and team members. The VIP (Security) Officer is responsible for securing premises, monitoring surveillance, conducting patrols, and ensuring a safe environment. You will assist with guest management, oversee the entry and exit of visitors, and uphold security protocols at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Security & Safety

Arrive 15 minutes before branch opening and conduct perimeter patrols.
Monitor all premises, entrances, parking areas, and back zones for suspicious activity.
Ensure all security equipment (panic buttons, radios, scanners) are functional and charged.
Conduct guest searches in compliance with gender-specific protocols.
Direct traffic and maintain smooth flow for both foot and vehicle traffic.
Assist with alarm tests, stock reception, and daily reporting.
Maintain vigilance during opening and closing procedures.

Guest Service

Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude: “Good day, welcome to Hollywood.”
Proactively address guest complaints and ensure positive resolution.
Promote a guest-centric culture and the “service with a smile” philosophy.
Farewell guests politely, encouraging repeat visits.

Compliance & Conduct

Wear full uniform with name badge at all times.
Enforce entry rules: no bags, weapons, underage guests, or alcohol where prohibited.
Follow company code of conduct: no sitting, cell phone use, eating, or casual conversations on duty.
Report absenteeism to Branch Manager/Senior Team Leader at least 2 hours before the shift.
Maintain physical fitness as per job requirements.

Requirements

Registered with PSIRA (Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority).
Previous security experience is essential.
Matric (advantageous).
Valid driver’s license (advantageous).
Ability to work flexible, rotating shifts.
Strong analytical, observational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
