Brights Hardware is looking for a General Assistant in the Drive Thru Yard Department. The role ensures excellent customer service, accurate product loading, and efficient yard operations to prevent stock losses and maintain customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Load customer vehicles, delivery trucks, and transfer trucks promptly and accurately.
- Ensure stock is properly stacked, counted, and pulled for transfers.
- Report stock shortages and breakages.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment (sweeping, housekeeping).
- Assist customers with excellent service and product knowledge.
- Bag stone and sand as required.
- Participate in perpetual stocktakes.
- Perform additional tasks as delegated by supervisors.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Equivalent qualification.
- At least 1 year experience in a similar role (preferred).
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
- Numeracy skills to count and check stock.
- Physical fitness and stamina.
- Strong communication skills (verbal).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-disciplined, motivated, and able to work under pressure.
