Role Overview – Sales Consultant
As a Sales Consultant at Cell C, your main goal is to provide excellent service to customers while supporting the company’s sales objectives. This role involves interacting with clients, handling inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring that every customer leaves satisfied.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales:
- Welcome all clients professionally and make them feel valued
- Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly environment
- Keep policies and procedures up to date within the store
- Build lasting relationships with customers
- Process orders, forms, applications, and requests without delay
- Ensure accurate management of customer accounts
- Keep detailed records of all interactions, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve issues efficiently
Complaint Resolution:
- Listen carefully to customers and evaluate all information related to their complaints
- Resolve issues quickly by identifying the cause and offering the best solution
- Follow up to ensure problems are fully resolved
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Cell C products and services to answer customer queries accurately
- Support colleagues by sharing expertise and encouraging teamwork
Stock Management:
- Submit stock forecasts weekly on time
- Capture sales orders accurately and ensure daily turnaround times are met
- Ensure cash reports are correct and balanced at the end of each day
Finance & Administration:
- File documents accurately for easy access and audit compliance
- Submit weekly and monthly reports to management
- Prepare any ad-hoc reports when requested
Health & Safety Compliance:
- Follow all Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) guidelines
- Report incidents or concerns to management
- Attend SHE workshops as required
- Help maintain a safe and healthy workplace
Other Duties:
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management to support smooth operations
Requirements
To qualify for this role, you should have:
- Education: Matric + NQF 5 certificate, internal workshops, or online self-learning courses in customer service and sales
- Experience: 6–24 months in sales, retail, or a service environment
- Skills: ICT product knowledge is a plus, ability to boost sales, and proficiency in relevant computer applications
- Personal Traits: Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and customer-focused mindset
