This initiative aims to provide practical work experience, skills development, and professional growth opportunities to empower young graduates in various fields.

Community Development Services

Position: Graduate Internship Programme (50 Positions)
Duration: 12 months contract
Stipend: R60,000 per annum
Closing Date: 15 August 2025

Purpose

The Nkangala District Municipality is committed to empowering unemployed graduates by providing structured workplace experience. This programme aims to enhance employability and develop a pipeline of skilled professionals in construction, infrastructure, renewable energy, and environmental services sectors.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must:

• Be a South African citizen residing within the Nkangala District.
• Be between 18 and 35 years of age.
• Hold an NQF Level 4–8 qualification in one of the listed fields.
• Be currently unemployed and not participating in any internship or learnership programme.

Priority will be given to:

• Women
• Youth from previously disadvantaged backgrounds
• Persons with disabilities
• Graduates with limited or no work experience
