Fire Fighter Learnership Program (x9)

• Minimum Requirements:
  • Grade 12
  • Medical Test NFPA 1582
  • Certificate in Fire and Rescue Operations/Fire Fighter I
  • Hazmat Awareness
  • No criminal record
  • Physical and mental fitness
  • Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT)
  • Code B driver’s license (advantageous)
• Competency Requirements:
  • Problem-solving
  • Resilience
  • Communication
  • Ethics and professionalism
• Main Duties:
  • Assist with firefighting and emergency operations.
  • Maintain equipment and perform risk assessments.
  • Participate in fire prevention and rescue activities.
• Salary: R216,231.33 – R240,805.22 per annum (post level 10) plus benefits.

• Submit the completed application form along with a comprehensive CV, originally certified copies of qualifications, driver’s license, and identity document.
• Foreign qualifications must be evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA), and proof of evaluation should be included.
