The General Assistant will help maintain a welcoming and hygienic centre.

Responsibilities

Housekeeping:

  • Performing daily and scheduled cleaning of designated areas.
  • Regular dusting of surfaces and offices.
  • Maintaining sparkling windows as needed and scheduled.
  • Ensuring safety by deploying “wet floor” signs when necessary.
  • Conducting hourly checks and cleaning of internal staff restrooms twice daily.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • Minimum 1 year cleaning experience.

Required Skills:

  • Emotional intelligence.
  • Good communicator.
  • Effective cleaning and serving experience within an office environment.
  • High cleanliness and hygienic.

Behavioural Competencies:

  • Competent, self-motivated, honest, integrity, friendly.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances where required.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi task, prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Assertive, diplomatic personality.
