Overview
South African Airways is seeking a 24 Hour Desk Storeman to manage aircraft materials and tooling within MCC operations. This role ensures accurate inventory, timely stock availability, and compliance with aviation and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, bin, store, pick, and issue aircraft materials and tools
- Maintain accurate AMOS inventory records
- Perform stock counts, reconciliations, and shelf-life tracking
- Allocate bins and update rack labels
- Liaise with internal customers and stakeholders
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- 2 years’ experience handling aviation spare parts
- Certificate in Supply Chain Management / Logistics advantageous
- Working knowledge of AMOS and warehouse systems
- Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills
